Upland Bird Hunting 

The area along the Lynches River in Florence County was referred to as Kadapaw by the Pee Dee tribe and was some of the best hunting in South Carolina. With the creation of Kadapaw Feathers and Fins we are keeping with the tradition as we have created two great settings for these exciting quail hunts. With the choice of a timber hunt or an upland hunt you are sure to enjoy your day on our property. We have a collection of some of the finest pointers and guides to lead you through your choice of hunts. Along with the hunt you and your guests will be treated to lunch or an early dinner prepared and served on our property as you discuss the days hunt. Transportation to and from the beach area can be arranged to make your outing as convenient as possible. You will be greeted by gracious guides who will first give you an opportunity to warm up on our wobble trap before heading to the field to shoot your choice of 30, 50, or 75 released birds. This is as close to wild birds as you will get and due to predatory take over the wild population has all but been destroyed. This is a great idea for entertaining business clients or just to come enjoy some of the best that mother nature has to offer.
